Exhibits at the Northern Congress

One of the highlights of the the 36th Annual Northern Congress will once again be the exibits.  Every year the exhibit area   includes publishers of religion textbooks, catechetical resources, Catholic bookstores and  Archdiocese offices such as Vocations, Catholic Social Action, Family Life, Youth, Evangelization & Catechesis, etc.  Come early on Sept. 17, 2011 to talk with the exhibitors over coffee and donuts before the Congress starts or chat with them at lunch time or breaks.  Go to for directions and information.


Now that the Easter Season is over, it is time to start thinking about training your RCIA Team Members.  The slower pace of summer is a perfect time to take advantage of training in a retreat-like atmosphere.  RCIA in the Parish is an intensive two day experience to learn about and experience the rites and periods of RCIA.  Go to for the information and registration brochure for this valuable experience for leaders, catechists, team members, musicians, deacons and priests.

If you work with adolescents and their families in faith formation, here’s a day for you!  The 36th Northern Congress happens on September 17 at the Piqua, Ohio  JVS.  The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Gregory “Dobie” Moser, Director of the Youth and Young Adult Minsitry and CYO Office for the Cleveland Diocese since 1995.  Dr. Moser will address practical ways to draw adoelscents and their families into a life of faith.  Twenty of the thirty-one workshops will be of interest to catechists and youth ministers working with teens.   The registration  brochures have been sent to parishes and schools of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  You can print your own at or contact us at  for copies.
